"Sunday, January 1, 1905 [underlined] In the morning, a walk. Prof. Voßeler & wife, Krockenberger, Martha, and I. [...] It is worth noting some things about [...], which were added to our collection of ethnographic objects. One of the local employees, Mr. Salgo, had the idea to pick a small vase with flowers for every Bibi [woman?]. Martha also came into possession of one such vase. These vases were made of clay in the [...] [?] in the village of Amani [...] [?]. Unfortunately, this vase had been painted with colorful paint, which impaired the beautiful natural [...] [?] of the clay. 15. Small fired flower vase made of clay.
